Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A evening photograph of a sunflower bloom in the Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park, Chandlerville, Illinois. It is a breathtaking to see this field of Sunflowers in the late afternoon light. The sunflowers are part of a rotation of crops, including wheat and corn that provide food for doves that the wildlife area holds for hunting season.
For me my passion for photography lies in it’s creativity abilities. I am inspired by being able to capture stunning sunsets and beautiful nature scenes thats what draws me everyday to have my camera in hand and find the beauty in everything. I think landscape photography was my first love but love the challenges of Macro photography, and Wildlife shots. Learning new techniques and new ways to use post-processing to enhance photography keep me learning and studying this fascinating Art of photography . Thank you for viewing!
