Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Sunflower Fields
A late evening photograph of a field of sunflower blooms in the Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Park, Chandlerville, Illinois. It is a breathtaking to see this field of Sunflowers in the late afternoon light. The sunflower are part of a rotation of crops, including wheat and corn that provide food for doves that the wildlife area holds for hunting season. Hoping to capture with a beautiful sunset but it was blocked by clouds maybe I will be lucky another day.
For me my passion for photography lies in it’s creativity abilities. I am inspired by being able to capture stunning sunsets and beautiful nature scenes thats what draws me everyday to have my camera in hand and find the beauty in everything. I think landscape photography was my first love but love the challenges of Macro photography, and Wildlife shots. Learning new techniques and new ways to use post-processing to enhance photography keep me learning and studying this fascinating Art of photography . Thank you for viewing!
